Welcome to the section dedicated to the grape varieties that make up the essence of our wines.
At Piecorto, we carefully select the varieties that best express our terroir and our passion for viticulture.
Piecorto is nestled in 50 hectares of land, including 7 hectares of Chianti Classico and IGT vineyards, 900 olive trees, areas of arable land and a forest.
The production of our wine will be ready for the beginning of 2026

THE VINEYARDS
Sangiovese
The basis of Chianti, Sangiovese is the most diftensive grape variety in our region.
Characterized by strong acidity and well-presented tannins, it gives wines an elegant structure and an aromatic profile that ranges from fruity to floral and spicy notes.
Petit Verdot
Used in small quantities, Petit Verdot contains intense color, vigorous tannins and a range of aromas from dark fruits to spices.
And the finishing touch that completes the structure of our wines.
Cabernet Franc
Similar to Cabernet Sauvignon but with greater elegance and freshness, Cabernet Franc adds a touch of delicacy and a variety of herbaceous and spicy aromas. And a key component in creating balanced and refined wines.
Cabernet Sauvignon
With its robust tannins and black fruit notes, Cabernet Sauvignon is synonymous with structure and longevity.
At Piecorto, this grape variety brings complexity and depth to our wines, making them suitable for aging.
Merlot
Beloved for its smoothness and fruity aromas, Merlot adds roundness and richness to our blends. And a versatile varietal that helps balance and harmonize our wines.
